Zandanshatar.G, Speaker of the Parliament, visited the integrated intensified livestock and arable farming complex of Metagro company in Khentii province. He kindly expressed his gratitude to those who participated in the development of a comfortable and sustainable working environment for employees and expressed his willingness to show regulatory and policy support for the innovative and smart technology that is helping economic development. Metagro Company has created over 200 jobs through the cattle feedlot, with 5,000 heads of cattle and 10,250 ha of arable farming land, an abattoir, a feed mill and an employee camp which provides pleasant working conditions for locals. The company hosted a welcome event at the Metagro agriculture project and development on October 20, 2023, for 35 local veterans in cooperation with the Health Centre of Ulziit Village and the Veteran Council. The Metagro agriculture complex was visited by more than 40 herders involved in the STREAM project, which has an artificial insemination program in Umnudelger, Binder and Bayan-Adarga soums in Khentii province. During the event, herders expressed their interest in supplying young cattle and proposed other initiatives.
